23rd IEEE NVSMW / 3rd ICMTD

The 23rd IEEE Nonvolatile Semiconductor Memory Workshop (NVSMW), formerly organized in Monterey, CA, will be combined with the 3rd International Conference on Memory Technology and Design (ICMTD) at the Club Méditerranée (Club Med), Opio in southern France. The first combined conference will run from Sunday, May 18th, through Thursday, May 22nd, 2008. In response to the growing global interest in NVM & Memory technologies the two conferences have agreed to merge and meet annually in May. The workshop is slated to return to Monterey, California, in 2009. The workshop is sponsored by the IEEE Electron Devices Society.

The NVSMW / ICMTD is a unique forum for specialists in all aspects of memory (non-volatile & volatile) microelectronics and people with different backgrounds who wish to gain a better understanding in the field. The morning and afternoon technical sessions are organized in a manner to provide ample time for informal exchanges amongst presenters and attendees. The evening panel discussions will address hot topics in the memory field.

Papers are solicited in the aspects of volatile as well as nonvolatile semiconductor memory technology, including:

  • Device Physics
  • Quality and Reliability
  • Cell Design
  • New Concepts and Technologies
  • Integrated Circuits
  • Solid State Disks, Memory Cards
  • Processing
  • Programmable Logic
  • Testing
  • New Applications
